Recently got a modified single axis motor drive with guide port on it. After that, has bought a QHY5 CCD as guider CCD.
All equipment are ready and finally the sky clear up for the test last night. smiley cool

Guidescope: Vixen 60S,FL=420mm
Imaging scope: SkyWatcher Mak90mm,FL=1250mm

My target is exposure 5 mins with autoguide (single axis).
The test quite satisfied with stars a bit elongated still....
Anyway, it is better than last time using eye as guider... tongue

Unguide 5mins

Thank you to perseid & mymoon grin

Actually on the same night, I did the test twice.
The 2nd time I pointed to M7 open cluster.
A guide star found at 2 seconds exposure on the guiding CCD. Thus, the autoguiding started using this 2 seconds interval guide star.

As the result, a guide star should be as bright as possible at shorter exposure time for more accurate guiding efficiency.
The test image, stars are elongated... embarassed sad

Looks very promising w'pun ada sket2 drifting sbb refresh rate dia slow.

How did u get darker skies in the 10min exposure than the 5 min guided above?

Because I set the ISO to lower....the 5mins exposure used ISO400, and the 10mins exposure used ISO200 only... smiley
