Cannot see the granulation like last time, maybe due to the bad seeing like you said.

But such a small sunspot can also be seen clearly. And the illumination gets darker to the edge of the left frame. Any way to make it even?

I would not see it as a 'problem', because it is natural causes. Kalau kita 'remove' the darkening, wouldn't it be 'unnatural' then?

Besides, this is not an optical problem macam vignetting .. so shouldn't be an issue..

I know a friend of yours who LOVES NATURAL photos. totally unprocessed! evil

Masihkah kau ingat......  grin

Dari segi kecerahan mmg tak dinafikan akan ada darkening effect tu in real life. Just nak tahu if boleh buang darkening effect tu untuk memudahkan analisis gambar...

Itu limb darkening effect boleh dibuang kalau kita dapat kira distribution-nya toward the limb of the Sun.
Ini juga sebahagian drpd analisis gambar. So that we know the optical depth and thickness of the solar atmosphere.

Gambar Matahari dlm CaII K sepatutnya melihat kromosfera matahari dan bukan "permukaan" nya.
So, granulation tidak sepatutnya muncul dlm gambar Matahari CaII K.
I am suspecting the DayStar CaK filter got some wavelength leakage.
