@william , I did some Noise Reduction via Canon DPP, does it effect the sharpness? I notice macam it is a bit soft...

or maybe combination of that and my focusing?  tongue

Yes, I think so...noise reduction itu should applied some kind of median filter...
I think kalau lens itu buka sepenuhnya aperture ia memang akan soft sikit...
Keep up the great job!

Was browsing thru the images captured that night, couldn't find a sign of Geminids at all. Sigh.
My shots was mostly comprises of a 45secs opened shutter. Now my question to all, will this micro seconds Geminids be visible in a typical 45secs opened shutter images? Im guessing it should, unless the micro seconds are too dim to be registered in the captured image.

camner nak upload?

One of the easiest way is upload it to your Flickr.
Then do this as per the video shown on this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Tk2uPp5Tgo.

Tahun lepas saya mencerap Geminids dgn bukaan 30 saat, sadly satu pun tak lekat dl framing even banyak jugak yg lalu dlm framing.
Saya rasa exposure yg terlalu lama tak dpt nak capture meteor yg amat laju (dan kecik) ni. Jadi tahun ni (malam 13hb lepas) saya cuba ubah
setting kamera saya, guna ISO4000, f/3.5 dan shutter 8 saat sahaja. Alhamdulillah, 5 biji lekat dlm framing. Cuma silap saya pada permulaan shoot
saya lupa nak buang CPL filter, patut gambar saya sedikit gelap time tu dan terpaksa up ISO sampai 4000 tu.

Terima Kasih Ust. Annamir. Saya agak, that explains the multiple shots taken masa kat Kampar tu - but yet none yg lekat masok dalam gambor yg saya captured. Pengajaran / lesson learnt yg priceless, jangan bukak shutter lama sangat!  grin

Salam....

sila baca disini

ada perbincangan tentang

1.When to shoot
2.Where to Aim the Camera
3.How Many Frames to Shoot
4.choice of lenses

but it ends up being mostly luck  grin

Kena belajar doa yang di baca . Turun lah sikit ilmu tu.

In the mean time photographing meteors is having the right mind-set. When you miss shots, laugh. When you capture great ...

cheers
