Salam,
Ramai yang faham sains astronomi dan kitab Alquran telah menyatakan bahawa kitab tersebut telah menerangkan ilmu astronomi sejak 1400 sebelum saintis zaman moden menemuinya seperti bumi berbentuk bulat, matahari dan bulan mengikut orbitnya sendiri dll. Ini termasuklah saudara
harunyahya yang terkenal dengan hujahnya berlandaskan Alquran dalam menerangkan kejadian langit dan bumi. Namun saya masih belum berjumpa hujah sains berkenaan meteor menjadi alat untuk menghalau jin dalam ayat berikut;
72:8
Y.Ali ':And we pried into the secrets of heaven; but we found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires.
R.Khalifa ': `We touched the heaven and found it filled with formidable guards and projectiles.
Pickthal: And (the Jinn who had listened to the Qur'an said): We had sought the heaven but had found it filled with strong warders and meteors.
Shakir: And that we sought to reach heaven, but we found it filled with strong guards and flaming stars.
Literal: "'And that we, we touched the sky/space, so we found it filled (with) strong guards, and all lights from a fire source/stars/planets (shooting stars) .'"
72:9
Y.Ali: We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to (steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush.
R.Khalifa ': `We used to sit there in order to spy. Anyone who listens is pursued by a powerful projectile.
Pickthal: And we used to sit on places (high) therein to listen. But he who listeneth now findeth a flame in wait for him;
Shakir: And that we used to sit in some of the sitting-places thereof to steal a hearing, but he who would (try to) listen now would find a flame lying in wait for him:
Literal: "'And that we, we were sitting/remaining (in position) from it (in) seats/sitting places (positions) for the hearing/listening, so who hears/listens now finds for him a light from a fire source/star/flame (shooting star) watching/observing (ambushing) (him).'"
Pasti ada hujah sains mengapa jin tidak berani lagi mendengar berita langit. Contohnya
- Apa yang menyebabkan meteor tertarik ke bumi? Adakah secara kebetulan, tentu tidak?
- Siapakah yang menjaga supaya meteor tidak secara kebetulan ditarik kebumi? Pasti ada law/formula tertentu yang memegang jutaan meteor tersebut.
- Jika ada law tersebut, apakah yang ada pada jin yang menyebabkan meteor itu tertarik padanya apabila jin cuba naik ke langit?
Ini adalah ayat yang belum terjawab oleh saintis Islam manakala saintis barat mungkin menganggap ayat ini tak logik.
