superb! welcome to astrofotografi!

Less visual. More sharing. 550D patut boleh dapat lebih tinggi high res dari ni. Tu bukan ori size betul tu. Atau dah crop dan resize?

Weather midnight last night, very very hazy. Yellow moon rising just missing the Masjid Al-Mukarramah's tower.

No chance for drift alignment yet..  cry

crop gambar bulan jer. jgn lupa copyright. skrang tgk ramai org suka copy letak nama sendri.

then post jpeg jer yg high res tu. mau tgk. Suka 550D tu. Cuma lajukan sket shutter speed tu. 1/30s sgt slow. dan naikkan sket ISO pun takper, dalam 400-800. 550D takde masalah noise sgt. Anda selamat...

Congratulation on the new observatory!

Very good attempt on the Moon.

I took similar Moon images but I found that the exposure was around 1/1000s @ 200ASA. I am surprise yours are only 1/30.
As suggested by Redzuan, I think set the time to shorter exposure is better. Minimized vibration.

Thank you CK. Experience observing from a permanent  observatory like yours, less setup time + more observing,   is one of the major inspiration and help me to finally decide to setup one.  afro

Dr.Rowi's observatory and his CCD imaging setup is another one that put the spice on the already-racunned mind  cool

Thanks for the advice for the exposure time. Funny, I was too eager to start snapping different exposures without playing with the ISO much!  Already tried a few new settings early this morning, but the moon was really low and seeing was not good that only a few shots worth looking at. Will do more PP today.
