Hujan lebat...

Petir dan kilat sabung menyabung...

Memang dahsyat kesan sampingannya... Next time kemarau, no more cloud seeding... just get a huge telescope...

Menarik cerita pembuka tirai. Harap bleh dtg guna sebelum focal lengthya disembelih...

Something different that I find very interesting is...

The how the floor looks so clear when most of the time it is full of gadgets and other scopes or mounts.

This looks like Spring Cleaning.

If there's a Garage Sale, do let us know!!!

tested the auotguider comprising of Toucam+60mm f/l 500mm guide scope + PhD

manged to  get round stars at 220 sec sheltered from wind.

tested from my driveway.

have to find a darker area to test for longer exposures.

The set up for the C11 = the accessories I reckon have reach the limit of EQ6 weight capacity.

see the coming moon movie.

cheers

staring from Mare Clavius region (+LCROSS area) to Mare Frigoris.

Sorry the jerkiness, the set up has reached the maximum loading capacity of the EQ6 mount.

moon flyby

warning: epileptic persons should refrain from watching.

tahniah pak aziz!

Looks like you have no more excuse but to setup an observatory yourself. All the wheeling in-and-out from your house will wear you off..   afro

The M42 edge .. got elongated stars! Not flat? or limit of the mount up t0 220 sec for the C11?  huh

Like the flyby. Minta izin guna for outreach events.  smiley

thunderstorm, haze, clouds for the past couple of days... !!  the curse is back! bagi can-lah telescope at SGO buat drift aligment properly.. hehe  evil

I thought it is my astigmatism  grin

kena tunggu dedicated flattener. The current one that is used for the C8 makes the stars worst.

Permission granted.

Excuse2. I found the compass and thread method for the azimuth and iPad Clinometer for the altitude adequate. No need for drift alignment. This take 10-20mins. The autoguider does the minor drift correction.

BTW the rolling tripod set up has reduced the setting and dismantling time tremendously.   But I have the advantage that there are only two of us in the house so I can just campak stuffs anywhere and organise them later.

My next test will be using the C11 with Hyperstar 3 for imaging. Then I will decide whether to go for an observatory or remains with the rolling pier.

cheers

The high quality optics is very much visible in the video. Nice!!! Tak sabar nk tgk hish res photo (stacked) from Mr Mymoon later. Maybe will need to print an A0 poster for the living room later too.

To me the stars are not elongated, but slightly drifty. since they all trail to one side. Just want to know if the LPS was used in the making of this M42 shot.

The moon photo looks very nice too.
