Sky was clear last night, fire up all equipment, then suddenly my QHY5 refused to connect! 

Tried 3 different PC, re-install drivers, 5 different USB cable, Win7 , Win XP, all same no connection to the camera. 

After about 2 hours trying, then I gave up. 

However I did manage to do FocusMax V-curve wizard successfully. Very easy as easy as click <Enter>, literally!

This morning, reading through Maxim's setup for guidescope, apparently can connect to video devices via DirectShow. So cucuk my Mallincam and Alhamdulillah can connect through MaxIm as guidecam. 

So doa lebih sikit and hope for clear sky for testing tonight.

Yes, starlight's result always amazed me, pity it's way too expensive! 

Btw, my qhy5 is back operational, i think ( no chance to test yet), need to upgrade firmware myself, download some application, put in some hex numbers etc etc, and some not so clear instruction and nasty response from the qhyccd forum.

 

Well, i guess you get what you pay!
