Buat habis beras saje. Sama saperti lawan Nikon dan Canon.
Very much dependent on the operator skill.
DSS does only Image Calibration, Aligning and Stacking. Very primitive image correction and enhancement.
IRIS does Image Calibration, Aligning and Stacking as well as Image Correction and Enhancement.
Cannot beat Photoshop for Post Process which you have to use for DSS.
For me I am at loss learning IRIS. Very steep learning curve for a computer nerd; can't even get pass IRIS Setup.

For those interested in IRIS processing sequence see
here under
Processing.DSS is GUI and good for beginners as Auto and default settings will produce great images.
From your two pictures I suspect there is a setting not quite right with your DSS if your images are not holding up to post processing. DSS is pretty idiot proof, but to get optimal results you do need to know what to change and when from the default settings.
I tried Color Matching in Photoshop but it fail. So it is more than a question of setting the Black and white points or white balance.
Moral of the story: Stick to one that works for you.
