lama tak ambil gambar.

dulu2 ambil gambar jupiter dengan guna webcam.

Kali ini guna QHY5. Sungguh susah sebab pertama kali.

QHY5 biasanya diguna untuk autoguiding dengan PHD.

sayang tak ada LRGB fiter wheel. Kalau tidak tentu dalam warna warni  grin

nak belajar ambil gambar bulan pula. belum berjaya.  angry

cheers

cantik la pak aziz. setting a very high standard for the rest of us. nampak sama dgn gandingan Mewlon 10inch & skynyx. untuk color, mungkin lebih mudah dan sesuai utk beli satu color webcam daripada filter wheel. jimat masa & $$$ serta dpt 2 webcam (there's always a backup). imej can then be overlayed in PS.

kalau guna same step utk ambil bulan, sure abes byk storage utk record.

p/s: i think the thread title is a bit misleading. it should be Saturn...

Mesti dah Google tapi tak jumpa.  grin

Maaf ya.

Celestron makes Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (SCT) in apertures from 4 inch to 22 inch. C8 refers to aperture of 8inch.

Want to know more read here

Maiden attempt on imaging a planet, first light for the QHY5. Hiyak!

Viewing was so-so from where I was setting up just now. Stacked with Registax6 from the best 200 shots out of many hundreds initially taken.

Saturn viewed from the eyepiece was tack sharp, but I tried lotsa things on QGVideo to get the image sharp. However this is the best I can came up with for now. Need to learn more on using the software I guess, or learn to really utilize the gear . . . . . . .  afro

Peace Out.

p/s: u dont need to wear the 3D glass on this.

To be honest, this is already quite a feat. It is really quite hard to image with a short focal length scope like the Megrez 90. You can never match those SCTs long reach for planetary.

Considering this is your first planetary shot, Congratulations!!! This is already better than my first a few years back. Hats off to u Bro. afro

Tahniah bro, this is a good 1st attempt!   afro

And now you have to teach me how to make qhy5 working with qgvideo! never can get mine working..so qhy5 remains as a guider.   rolleyes

jom FOTT tonight..

Bravo.

All the blood(donated to mosquitoes), sweat(your country is hot)  and tears (of joy)bear fruit.  grin

It is damned hard to focus with the 4x powermate. Touch the telescope focuser and saturn will be jumping all over the place  angry

Tip: you need to pencil mark on your focuser the focus points for the eyepiece(with and without 4X powermate) and ditto for the QHY5. Best done in the day time.

Step by step. Plus, kat Malaysia ni amat jarang kita dapat langit yang clear tanpa awan dari terbenam matahari hingga terbit fajar, untuk kita imej sepanjang malam seperti yang dilakukan didalam timelapse tersebut.
