Moon 18.09 days old...aftermath of the eclipse chasing week...

Taken early this morning with DBK 21AU04.AS camera through the 120mm Equinox. No barlow.

I think this is by far my most detail image of the moon. Rather please with the camera. And my first complete mosaic attempt. 12 AVI files to cover the whole moon, with generous overlapping in between.

Stacked each video files first in Registax and save as TIFF file (without doing any wavelength adjustment).
Then use PS CS3 photomerge tool to combine all 12 files.The final file is save as TIFF again.
Then, open the mosaic in Registax again for wavelength adjustments.Save as TIFF
Then, open in PS CS3 again for final touch-up.

Note:Ada mistake on the previous unfinished moon mosaic where I mentioned I used 5x barlow..which actually I didn't.. masa tu saya confuse testing on Saturn with the 5x barlow and not on the moon.

This was taken on the same night, but with 550D and Equinox 80

The 18 day old Moon was rising behind a nearby apartment, and nicely placed from my rooftop observatory about midnight. The combination of murky sky and waning gibbous phase, gave the impression as if the moon was staring back watching with envy at the sleeping occupants of the apartment. Canon 550D at 500mm, ISO200, 1.3s exposure
