52 Cygni and part of the supernova remains, Veil Nebula

Under unfavourable condition with Moon nearby.

Extreme stretch in order to see the Veil Nebula's filaments

I got the RGB data, but somehow Maxim DL refuses to combine them. So, I ended up with Luminance only.

Image background got gradient as I did not calibrate properly with the correct flats..

Location: ShahGazer Observatory, Sri Damansara, Malaysia
Date:20 June 2011 + 2 June 2011

Camera: QHY9 Mono with QHY Filter wheel (RGB)
Telescope: SW Equinox 120ED
Mount: EQ6 Pro with EQMOD
Guiding: Orion 80mm and QHY5
Imaging Software: Maxim DL
Processing Software: Maxim DL and PS3
Exposures: L: 4 x 5 mins; L: 4 x 100s. Total about 26 minutes
Calibration: Flats and Darks

Tq Pak Aziz,

actually the image is a bit noisy.. susah ooo mau lawan light pollution from KLCC!! plus with Moon somemore!!

Finally, got this confident to try longer subs   afro  .. so far 5 minutes is OK. But weather here can change drastically in just 1/2 hour!    shocked

In fact, I was sleeping throughout the 35 minutes duration of imaging 52 Cygni , only to woke up with clouds staring on my face! Lepas tu bungkus je la..  grin
