This is a good opening photo for 2012 besides all the mundane fireworks stuff of every new year photo... Can certainly be printed!

Feel really sorry for myself for not being able to make it. Was a restless night for me to be honest.

Good opening for the year 2012. The rain is now back gracing a scope with a new home... grin cheesy grin

P/s: tk sabau nk tgk hasil dgn modded. Bleh nampak selendeng merah keliling orion tu... Nnt nampak mcm aura sheild of orion plak...

rezeki.

sampai agak lewat, mula sesi pun agak lewat. Also was a bit too tired to stay up till morning. Kul 4.30 dah gave up. Pak Aziz and William gagah hingga ke pagi..  cool

Unfotunately disebabkan tak ada lens cap, fogging was REALLY bad ! Humidity agak tinggi.

CNY trip to BCS anyone?  grin

Another shot, this time using the 18-55mm kit lens

No wide angle lens!  cry

3 min, ISO 800

Gradient Xterminator used. This one if facing the Politeknik area.. sky glow was bad in the original photo.

Save the Dark Sky Please!

mine using Canon 200mm f2.8L prime lense  grin

My GUNTING cannot be guided(operator error)

but dah lama tak buat deepsky  imaging dah berkarat. cry

Instead of taking unguided shots, tried whole night to correct, konon2 nak cuba 5 to 10 min subs take single frame only.

and end up taking sub second shots embarassed

all in all we have about 4 hours of excellent imaging wi ndow.

here it is using BYE software. excellent for framing and focusing and taking lights and dark frames.

cheers
