i just saw a really huge fire ball in penang.... (really2 huge)
anybody saw the same..?

yup... really2 bright..
just like a burning object falling trough the sky and fall super duper fast......just like a meteor....
the colour is yellowish + bright white colour and a little green....it also leave a tail trail..really bright 1..
i saw it at the jelutong high way....its like plunge into the sea...
what object did i saw..?

Assalamualaikum....... Yup, that discription fits a fireball alright. I saw them quite a few times in KB. Including one near maghrib, no colour exept orange and a hell of a long smoke/dust trail. Imagine, the thickness of our atmosphere is roughly 1000km, that thing pass through that distance in less then 2 sec  . Imagine if it hits commercial plane, but what are the chances right?  |

Assalamualaikum.... Well, two of my various sightings of fireball, adalah ketika mendung. Rasanya filem2 sci-fi fari barat yang suka guna effect masa malan dan hujan telah mempengaruhi kita kot? Im juts kidding. Hope the night sky are clear tonight. (BTW, ada orang kata, kita boleh cari serpihan meteor di pantai. How do you know the thing is meteor when you look at it?) |

Congratulation. No doubt it is a fireball meteor. You are very lucky. I think I have only seen one bright meteor so far that I can really say is a fire ball. |

it's a good experience coz last time i tgk pon 2 thn lps time Geminids..
It has a long tail and very bright greenish in colour..
it can see about 2-3 seconds longtail trail..
