Starry night pro 5...WOW!!!

Hi everybody,

I already installed Starry night pro 5 in my Mac...what can I say is this program really bring the night sky to real. Easy to use..nice graphic and also full of star database.

It is a wonderful sky chart that I recommend to newbie or advanced to astronomy.

Heard also about rave review on SNP 5. But I haven't get the chance to see in in action... kena tunggu tommy buat demo kat kedai kopi di PJ... 

And I also understand they use the all-aky ccd image for the night sky... not the simulated view from the previous version. They combined with another astounding software... desktop planetarium... harga rm1200/- wooo!!! I beli around 3 years ago.. recently the owner decide to jual the rights of using the all-sky image in desktop planetarium to SNP owner... a move which not many people agree with... mainly because DP itself is uniqe and can go far.... 

but also I read somewhere, SNP 5 is too bloated already.. so many graphics, and minimum pc requirements is getting ridicilously to high... 

that's why i prefer the plain and simple Skymap Pro for day to day use..

Hi,

Definately the graphic is better than SN pro 4.5.......But I can feel that it use almost the same memory size requirement with SN pro 4.5

So, dont worry so much about the system requirement.

Haah full of features. Tapi STP 4.5 pun tak habis nak godek lagi. STP 5 siap boleh guna hubble punya images lagi, quite stunning

Betul jugak kata shah, kadang2 rasa macam trlampau banyak feature yg tak pernah guna pun... bloatware.
