Langit pagi tadi sangat baik, terutamanya selepas pukul 5 pagi. Buat pertama kalinya, saya mencerap comet SW.

Cantik sekali!
I ingat, rasa fragment C lebih senang diambil...nampaknya fragment B diambil dengan baik sebaliknya.

My first try on this comet fragment B & C was during the Pulau Singa Besar trip on 29Apr - 1May. I managed to find the frag.C in the wrist of Hercules and frag.B in Corona Borealis at the first night. Frag.C is bigger and brighter than frag.B.
My photographic weapon is 300mm f/4.5 lens with SLR camera. The setup at first is expected cannot get the comet well and obvious. And the result turned out just like what expected...anyway, will get it a try again when the comet is close approach to us (Earth).

Not anymore.
I think B is brighter now. On that night, 9th May, I can see B with naked eye. C has the appearance of a squash comet (very eliptical coma) and the light spread over a wider area.
The sky has been very cloudy and the Moon is getting in the way. So, I guess it will be until next week before we can start to photograph the comet again.

A very beautiful picture.
Plus the drama, with streaks of stars of all colours,
whizzing past the bold comet.
