Dear Astronomy Enthusiast,

Invitation For Participation in “ NATIONAL ASTRONOMY CONVENTION 2007 : ANGKASAWAN AND SPACE EXPLORATION”
 to be held from 9 – 11 March 2007 in University Science Malaysia,
Penang, Malaysia

The Astronomy and Atmospheric Science Research Unit of University Science Malaysia together with the Mufti Department of Penang and the Penang Matriculation College will be organizing the “National Astronomy Convention 2007” from 9 to 11 March 2007 in University Science Malaysia. The theme of this convention is ‘Angkasawan and Space Exploration”. The holding of the “National Astronomy Convention 2007”, will be an excellent opportunity for astronomy enthusiasts from Malaysia and neighbouring countries to come to one place and take part in many activities and to share their experiences with each other. They can also see/purchase/exchange all kinds of astronomical equipment and products that will be on display and use.

Attached below is the program of the “National Astronomy Convention 2007” which will be held in Main Examination Hall and Padang Kawad of University Science Malaysia from 9 – 11 March 2007.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the “National Astronomy Convention 2007” I would like to invite you and all astronomy enthusiasts to take part in the “National Astronomy Convention 2007” which will be held in University Science Malaysia from 9 – 11 March 2007. I would also like to invite you to bring your telescopes and other astronomical equipment to University Science Malaysia for this convention. During the first and second evenings of this convention, we shall be conducting the “Star-Party”. We are also inviting many of the government and state departments and amateur astronomers in Malaysia and neighbouring countries to bring their telescopes and astronomical equipment to this convention.
