Imej kali ini ialah Messier 45, Gugusan Bintang Pleiades.  Pada pendapat saya, objek ini adalah objek mata kasar yang paling cantik sekali di langit malam.  Kalau tengok guna binokular atau low powered teleskop lagi cantik.  Teleskop yg saya guna seperti biasa ialah William Optics ZS66SD jenis refractor, menggunakan mount Nexstar 6SE GOTO (saya cabut SCT 6" tu, ganti dgn WO ZS66SD).  Teleskop ni focal lengthnya sederhana ~388mm, jadi field rotation tak seberapa berbanding dgn SCT 6" yg mempunyai focal length 1200mm.  Jadi tak guna equatorial mount pun masih boleh.

Imej ni adalah hasil dari gabungan ~300 frame, setiap frame exposed for 30s pada ISO800.  Kalau expose lama sikit (> 1 minit), nebulosity yg dapat dirakam mesti lebih besar dan lebih detail, tapi kerana saya menggunakan Alt-Azimuth mount, saya terhad kepada 30s (kalau lebih star trail pulak).

300 frames!!? mana satu software yang kamu guna? DSS? IRIS? ..

I think the focusing still need to adjust. Can upload the .tif file for me to try on? I think I still can see more detais not yet bring out. Smiley

BTW, it is a good image and effort.

Thanks Tommy.  Ya la...focus especially at the edges are soft.  But at the center I think the focus is quite alright.
