Hi all, On 17Dec night, 18Dec2008 morning, the sky was clear for the fisrt time since 2 months ago... I took the oppurtunity to try astrophotograph the Witch Head Nebula. The Witch Head Nebula very dim. After 16 frames, 4 mins each stacked together, only very little of nebulosity captured. It almost hidden in the light polluted sky. Thus, I think this object easier to be capture at darker side. KKB should be no problem....  Anyway, beside the Witch Head Nebula, I also tried the HorseHead Nebula. This one quite bright but I only manage to have 2 shots due to the object blocked by tree. The result was encouraging. I believe if shot more next time....should be a good photo from light pollution sky also.... Here to share with you all this test shot of HorseHead Nebula. There got some lights near by, lens flare occured.  |

So that witch do not allow her head to be shown.  Like you said need darker skies. The HorseHead looks good even for 2 frames. The flare framed it nicely. So before you goto Anyer can we make a trip to KKB.  I want to try M31. but I need help to locate it.  BTW my target for tonight is this big fluffy white cloud.  cheers |

setahu saya kena ada tracking equatorial mount baru dapat ambil gambar DSO. kalau tidak mount jadi tripod . dapat ambil gambar star trails saje lah. cheers |

wah.... ni kena plan cantik2 ni, langit skrg dah nmpk lebih cerah dr minggu2 sebelum ni, banyak benda boleh buat ni. 24 mlm ok, 31 pun...takde apa2 event, patutnya ok jugak... racun..... |

wah.... ni kena plan cantik2 ni, langit skrg dah nmpk lebih cerah dr minggu2 sebelum ni, banyak benda boleh buat ni. 24 mlm ok, 31 pun...takde apa2 event, patutnya ok jugak... racun..... Ok. maybe kita boleh pulun buat 2 session sebelum berakhirnya tahun 2008 ni.. standby semua, saya akan umumkan secara rasmi nanti.. nak confirm lokasi selamat dengan geng di KKB.. tungguuu... |
