This is becoz this mount is quite expensive and the shipping fees are much more higher due to the weight of package. I believe RM900.00 is a reasonable price for it. Hope you can understand.

Hope you can confirm it after next week..... Coz i wont be in KL for a week. Balik kampong lo.....Sabah!!! Hope can get 13 hours new moon from there.

Good idea tommy, bleh la kuar minum-minum sambil discuss-discuss. Nanti don't forget to inform me kalau korang nak gath mana2 itupun kalau saya ada kat KL at that time.

Shah tak jadi balik tapi mmg plan nak balik tapi kereta just broke down semalam, gasket bocor. Dah la citroen nak cari sparepart susah dahtu nak CNY plak nih.... adusss fenin!

Boleh je Tommy, rizal, botok. We can find a good spot for technical how-to discussion on telescope and stufff. Tak menjadi masalah. Just set the date. Tapi saya balik bercuti dari Selasa until Sabtu. Jadi kalau nak buat mungkin b4 atau after.

BTW, my modified ETX-mount has completed!     It seems ok so far. Lepas ni kena buat some make-up sikit, bagi lawa. I'll post the photo esok... jeng jeng...

lagi satu, anyone knows di mana boleh beli good quality 2nd hand camera lense? Preferably yang ada c-mount.

Pasal 2nd hand camera lens. Saya tak tau kualiti ok ker tidak tapi arituh ada pergi "cash converters" dekat ampang point tepi habib jewels tuh. section camera dia banyak ada jual lens2 slr 2nd hand dan murah2 plak tuh.. price ranging from rm 40-200. From the looks of the condition nampak cam cantik lagik! Dah tu camera SLR lama2 pun jual murah2. Boleh la try tengok..

Ada satu lagi cash converters dekat TMN SEA PJ.

hmmm.. kalau saya bertukang sendiri, dah lama siap truss tube dobsonian idaman tu..      adik ipar yang tolong buat tu....

bab kamera lense ni, nak tanya sikit lah, selalunya dia akan tulis , contohlah, 50mm f/1.8.  Jadi 50mm tu aperture lense atau focal lenght? Kalau pada teleskop, selalunya ia akan sebut aperture dulu... kalau kamera lense, camne yek?

Weather in sabah very nice....Can see M42 terang terang.

shah...let me answer ur question......for an example, the 50mm F1.2 means

- A 50mm lens produces an image of a distant object on the film that
is the same size as would be produced by a pinhole 50mm from the film.
 
- The F1.2 means aperture of the lens.
