Congratulation to mymoon on the california nebula. I am wondering how is the original image (raw) look like...

To Redzuan, your M42 also good. Just a little bit of out focus. Next time pay more attention on focus...don't just rush for shooting.

I was using LNO's solar visual telescope. Camera mount seems somewhat loose. first focus on sirius then only slew to orion nebula, but i guess the focus lari a bit already. must try with lens pula next time.

Rushing was due to heavy clouds that came in 30 minutes after the first frame. Racing against the clouds... was really hoping for good clear skies all day there.

TQ . Such encouragement from a sifu makes you want to take more DSO images.

from one of the light RAW frames, converted in PS3 reduced image to fit and save as jpg. Otherwise untouched.

The nebula is just visible if you look hard enough grin

cheers
