My humble 1st photo from Penang sky, Heaven's above Balik Pulau Object: M42, Orion Nebula.  Higher Res HERE. Image details: SW Equinox 80mm f/6.25 (NOT in guidescope-mode  ) Mallincam Hyper Plus Color with MFR-3, Light Pollution Filter. Settings = (2.1s x 5, 7s x 5, 14s x 9, 28s x 10, 56s x 10). Total exposure time about 16 minutes. Images stacked using DeepSkyStacker, processed in Registax |

Thank you Pak Aziz, Maybe the weather plus condition of the observing place contributes. An observatory is certainly a plus point as it helps us to be more 'relax' during imaging.  CK, thanks a lot the accommodation and usage of equipments. A+  |

untuk tidak menyemakkan thread lain, dan kerana aktiviti ini dilakukan serentak, maka saya parking kat sini la beberapa objek yg saya rakam malam tu. Baru first time guna, so maaf kalo tak menepati standard. Just sharing... M44 (first try)  Omega Centauri (cuba proses)  betelgeuse (dengan starfiled on the side)  sirius (dengan starfiled on the side)  Mars n M44 (single shot)  |

bravo bro Redzuan. Suka tengok color Betelgeuse and Sirius. Tapi nampak 'flare' pada kedua-dua bintang tu macam curve upwards sikit. Scope collimation off ke? Susah nak tenung betul-betul.. gambar kecik standby semua, ada banyak lagi hasil kerja nya yang masih disimpan dalam poket..  |
