can see dust lane wooo!!

this is what they call "self-inflicted racun" 

A lot of lesson learnt for the pass 2-3 months regarding astro imaging. More great setup examples and more choice.. or is it a sin to day-dream?

Guys, you know what...I don't think all the bright dots inside the picture are stars.
Thus, dark frame still needed for long exposure.
BTW, is the CCD cooled?

Yup you're right. As mentioned earlier.. this is still an 'unprocessed' image.. dark frames taken but belum subtract. CCD was cooled, to about, i think -8 deg or somewhere there.

Hope can do some PP tonight, just reached KL.. penat sikit..

Sungguh la best dedicated CCD+permanent observatory ni. Site tetap important? First few telescopes yang sebesar rumah dibuat oleh tauke tanah kaya ended up digunakan hanya beberapa hari dalam setahun sbb kerap berawan, mendung dan hujan. Tak ingat nama org ni.

Mmg best la gambar ni. sempoi2 dapat galaxy 10 minutes siap takde trailing. Semudah menekan satu butang... "ENTER"... Power2...

Agree with Shah, I also not agree with colourizing BW photo. Biar BW ataupun ambil RGB data, untuk buat color.

Gambar BW telah saya tambah warna guna gambar lama M83 saya yang diambil dengan DSLR. Gambar BW saya guna sebagai luminousity, cantum dengan gambar DSLR warna. Blur sikit untuk kurangkan noise.

Nice one CK. Really like the tone within the spiral arms.
