Sky is excellent with no clouds, weather was good, slight vibration from the drilling activity affected most of the attempted shots taken.
Hard to eliminate the unwanted lights when the source is just right behind you. Lack of interesting foreground object, resulting the use of rig crane and well lit oil platform on the horizon.



Again, lack of foreground in an attempt to get away from the light source.

nice shot!  grin

despite bright lights, still can go quiet deep reaching about magnitude 6 or 7! Can see traces of Eta Carinae clusters.
