Canon or Nikon is good. google for astrophotography using Nikon DSLR and you will see many fine images.

Canon had a head start as explained by this
article where Sony CCD sensors were used by Nikon and inhouse manufactured CMOS sensors were used by Canon requiring different approaches to noise reduction.
It is call the goreng pisang syndrome
So use the camera you have for astrophotography. Even a point and shoot (fondly known as compact camera).BTW a Pentax is equally useable.
AND if you are seriously into astrophotography have your DSLR camera
modified . You can still use it for normal photography using the cap of a Pringles potato chips container
