I brought back my full set of scope to my hometown sabah once. 1. Tripod leg with bag (kargo) 2. Handbag with guide scope (on board) 3. Meade eyepiece Aluminium casing (on board) 4. Camera bag. your OTA better to hand carry it, need a bag pad for it. and place it in the luggage compartment. Make sure you'll tell the aicraft assitant that youre' carrying a very fragile telescope.. or everyone stares you might think that you are carrying a bazooka. The rest put in a big box and check it in the cargo. KLIA should provide special packing/wrap for a reasonable price... Just sharing |
