Hi,

Not really need a big scope to look at the tail. Just consider about the sky condition, air....most suitable place really dark place.

If we can travel far enough to a dark place....6-8inch newtonian shouldn't be a problem to get it.

Regards,

got an idea lah, why not on the early morning of Saturday, during the convention, we go off somewhere dark for some short observation on pojmanski? tapi saya tak boleh lepak lama-lama lah, pasal kena prepare untuk ceramah pukul 9 tu!!  grin

cannot lar...this is only a short period brightness comet. I believe it will be more dimmer when we are trying to look at it during the convention time...

It reach mag 7.2 when the time we are at Penang. Too dim for visual...

hahaha.....CK also lazy to wake up and catch this comet. Smiley Me too....

Cuaca kat Penang awal pagi bagusssss.... tapi I malas nak bangun.
Besok pagi, kalau cerah, mungkin nak cuba ambik gambar. Tapi doesn't look promising-lah.
Jumpa you guys kat convention.

By the way, I am not going to the USM Astronomy Convention, though I would like too. Has anyone been able to see anything besides a blob ?
