I have finally had a proper glimpse of the southern sky, on a cloud-less dry night, all because strong winds uprooted one of my trees and killed my neighbour(just joking, he didn't die).

And now, I am obsessed with the Southern sky. Even though its already spring, and the constellations of Pupis, Canis Major, and other southernly constellations are setting early, I love to looks at and observe star clusters, open star clusters. I find them so appealing, and unique. Each one appears different from another.

Anyway, i was wondering if anyone could suggest me a really good observation location in the south. And no, I won't be getting some speical new passport to do it. Its got to be in Malaysia. Its got to be a reasonably dark site, too.

Well, as long as i can see the Magellic clouds(I know they're not star clusters), I'm quite happy.

Tolong.
