Hi everybody...

I would like to introduce my poor-man portable astrophotography setup. This setup can be use for most of the events. For an example....Solar eclipse, lunar eclipse, constellation/wide field shooting....and so on. Smiley Any question, you are always welcome to ask... evil but before asking, please give me more opinions or comments for improvement...

Clear skies,

Tommy

Hi,

Now got more modification coming along...Hope you guys can give me more advice. Especially on the idea of double scope setup.

1. This is my counterweight system by using 2x dumbell..1.5kg and 1.25kg. So now my mount carrying case became more lighter. Smiley

2. I found this piece of Aluminum plate from my toolbox. So, will decide how to fully utilize it. Do you think if I mount this way it will work?

3. This is my planning on mounting my guidescope side by side with my main scope. So, I will have a little space to do the adjustment on my guidescope. Smiley Normally I will use this setup when my main scope use for prime focus astrophotography. Do you think it works?Huh? Just a rough idea from my mind......

Regards,

Tommy

Jika di kaji dgn detail cara murah "cheapskate"

 http://www.cheapskate-astro.net/

adalah salah nama (misnomer). saya estimate jika dibeli baru peralatan dengan harga pasaran malaysia (dari sumber internet) untuk set up DSO anggaran kos dalam RM15k atau lebih untuk peralatan., image acquisition and processing.

1. Kamera:DSLR untuk imaging( untuk mereka yang guna CCD cari sendiri)
               web cam untuk guiding

2.Mount: EQ-G atau HEQ5 goto (china clone with the goto version  better made (QC))

3.Telescope: 6 inch Newtonian f5/ 70-300 Tamron lens/
                   60-80mm guide scope

4.Mounting acc: untuk mount telescope/lense
                       sama tapi untuk  guide scope

5.Adapters/filters:T rings, Light pollution filter, Extension tubes, Barlows dsb

6. Computers: laptop untuk Guiding, Focussing, Image Acquisition and Image processing

7. Softwares: Mostly free-Guiding, Focus, Acquisition, Processing

8.Cables: Interconnecting, Shutter control,webcam control

9.Power supplies: untuk laptop, mount dan camera

10. Star charts, red flashlight, compass dsb

11.Creature comfort untuk Budding Astrophotographer saperti kerusi dll

boleh di kurang peralatan jika kamera ada live view, inbuilt intervalometer, shorter exposure seterusnya.

sila lawati untuk peralatan
http://www.cheapskate-astro.net/equipment.html

image acquisition
http://www.cheapskate-astro.net/taking-pictures.html

image processing
http://www.cheapskate-astro.net/imageprocessing.html

dan hasilnya yang dipetik
http://www.cheapskate-astro.net/

tepuk dada tanya selera. grin

pandangan dari kawan2 di terima.

cheers

terbeli Canon 40D dengan live view, mirror lockup, high ISO capability.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxTalp6f7kw
sungguh menajubkan untuk focus bintang atau planet samada telescope atau lensa.

terjual Canon 40D. cheesy

terlebih pitis nak beli Canon 40D mod with the UV/IR blocker installed directly over the sensor. tunggu IDAS LPS-P2 . This is a Light Pollution Suppression filter that has very wide applicability, but again the frames for the 40D are not yet available.

dari http://www.hapg.org/

atau dari

bandingan ori dgn mod
