When UM organised the Mars opposition observation night, I got this opportunity to spot another brother mount of mine. That is Vixen(Celestron) Super Polaris mount. I am quite happy becoz it is seldom for me to spot another vintage mount like this in Malaysia. Normally we can see Vixen(Celestron) GP, GP-DX and latest mount from Vixen.

It is an old and good quality mount, somehow it still can share some of the newest accessories produced by Vixen recently. Actually this is a good news for those owner that still keeping this old junk.



This mount is belong to Team unit falak from Perak. It is black color version. It also consider as a portable mount in term of light weight, like what I am doing now is putting it into a alluminium tools case.



Just wondering still have how many Vixen(Celestron) Super Polaris mount user in Malaysia? Do take out the mount from backyard keh, garage keh, store room keh..... and take photo of your mount and tell us how is the condition of this old mount.

Until now, I only found out three Vixen SP mount in Malaysia so far.
