kamayok3, You punya offer comes 2 minutes too late. Saya punya order ETX tu comes with deluxe tripod so biar lah dullu saya kena tengok kualitinya dulu sesuai tak dengan scope punya weight. Ada aksesori lain nak jual?  |

deluxe tripod tu tak boleh turun ke 0 degrees. Saya ada kawan nak try to modified the delxe tripod, tapi nampak the whole fork mount nak jatuh...tak tahan lama. But this equatorial wedge is really for this purpose.
Do you know ETX in Alt-az mode cannot do long time exposure? Do you know what is the reason you need equtorial wedge?

Last time when i ordered ETX125 set.....I straight away ordered the MEADE #887 advanced field tripod. Then I cancelled off the deluxe field tripod.

Thanks for the tips. Let me have a look at it first - I am such a beginner so before buying more ( i have a long list of accesories ! - tadi baru berangan nak beli burgress Binoviewer USD199 pulak!) I will consider your tripod too - let me check if I can cancel the deluxe tripod from Grandeye.

Actually for ETX....As a ex-ETx user,Let me give u some tips...
Normally becoz of the focal length of the ETX....so, a lot of accessories we cant use it perfectly. It is wasting money if u buy a lot of stuffs...but cannot give you good satisfication. Normally I check all the spec of products before i buy things.
So, The balancing of the tube is also important. I heard that you buy a binoviewer. For ETX....binoviewer is too much heavy for the tube. So, better think of a good balancing system for your ETX though:) I experience that before.....hehe
Advice: Always think of the focal length before you buy ep and anything regarding to viewing or photoraphing.

Tommy Tommy, Good idea, tapi yang kalau ikut posting ni, macam 4 orang je ada area KL. Yang lain camne? BTW, why not u take gambar foto mount tu and post it in here. It's perfectly legal..  Untuk semua, Saya dalam final stage untuk buat modification bagi mounting ETX tu. InsyaAllah hari ni or esok siap. Then I akan ambik gambar untuk komen. Plannya minggu depan balik cuti kat Besut, boleh try out. Botok, balik kampung tak minggu depan? |
